Today we will look at the first tip in this series.

Weight training.
That’s why today’s tip is to incorporate weight training in your workout.
Here are a few facts about weight training to motivate you to take up this awesome exercise today:
- If you replace 4.5 kg of fat with the same number of muscle, you will burn an additional 50 calories a day without even trying
- 2 weight training sessions a week can reduce your overall body fat by 3% in just 3 weeks. This translates to as much as 8 cm / 3 inches off your waist and hips!
- You will burn an average of 418 more calories in the 24 hours afterwards than you did when you didn’t weight train
- The amount of muscle mass in a women’s body is directly proportioned to her metabolism. A faster metabolism means you burn more calories - helping you to lose more weight.
So, make sure that you do regular weight training sessions (at least twice a week) and you will burn more calories, you will look leaner, your metabolism will be faster and you will start losing centimeters off your waist and hips without losing muscle.
