The importance (and difficulty) of self-discipline
Reflection...

I planned on exercising 5 times a week and I don’t think I’ve achieved it once. I also calculated that if I eat at the range for moderately active and I exercise at a higher intensity level, that I can have certain liberties.
The Problem
But as it is difficult to enter the values into Fast Track (I rarely make the same juice), I just thought it would be one of my liberties.
If I exercise more I figured I could have one glass of juice a day, a glass of wine and one block of dark choc on Fridays
The problem with that is that I still gave myself those liberties even tough I haven’t achieved my goal of 5 times a week’s exercise.
Self-Discipline To The Rescue!

Then came out the self-discipline!
I decided that I have to be more strict with myself and really enforce my own rules. If I didn’t reach my goal of 5 times, I shouldn’t have that block of choc or that glass of wine. And that’s exactly what I am going to do today; however difficult or not fun.
If I want to see results, I have to say NO to myself and be disciplined and strict.
And the same goes for my juices, If I skip one day’s exercise, I will stop any juice and have none for the rest of the week.
I just need to be more strict and keep by my own rules.
NO more liberties if I didn’t earn them.
Being strict with myself will help me to see that there are consequences to my actions and it will push me to achieve my goal of 5 days a week.
I love my juice, wine and choc. But I will only have them if I was a good girl.
Self-Discipline may not be easy (OK, it never is), but for success in the long run, you have to conform to your own rules and be more strict!
