An example of a goal that might be within reasonable reach would be to focus on losing five pounds this month by drinking more water, eating healthy and walking everyday.

Know what your goals are. You may even consider writing them down on a piece of paper and posting them up on the refrigerator. Be specific about the goal that you want to reach. Next, go out for a brisk 30-minute walk. Do this everyday until I have reached my goal weight.

Just make sure to try and be more active each day. Parking further away from the shops entrance, taking the stairs instead of the lift and walking your dog more often will all help to reach your goal of being more active.
